Good Samaritan Ministries will be participating in a Tri-Cities event called "Abolishing Poverty."

Theologians, academics, and seasoned practitioners will converge for a weekend to provide meaningful and applicable dialogue and direction on how we can abolish poverty in rural Appalachia.

The event is happening at First Broad Street United Methodist Church. Powerful speakers from the United Methodist Church and other denominations will gather to converse over the theology of abolishing poverty, the multiple dimensions of poverty, how to find long range solutions, how congregations can engage in the effort, and which policy changes would have the greatest effect on poverty.

Good Samaritan Ministries will have attorneys come to our building to give you FREE advice on the second Saturday of each month from 9AM-12PM.
