The Be a Light Marketplace is a unique experience to obtain Christmas gifts for children under 17 in Northeast Tennessee. Neighbors who participate in the Hope for the Holidays program may visit the marketplace to choose gift items for children in the household. The marketplace is unique because the facility is arranged as a retail experience, empowering families to choose gift items that best appeal to the wishes and needs of their children.
How the Marketplace Works
Good Samaritan Ministries awards each child a number of points that may be exchanged for gifts items with a point value. Families shop for gift items for each child and then exchange points for gifts.
Rules of Participation
The marketplace is open to registered participants of the Hope for the Holidays program. Good Samaritan Ministries provides location and schedule details to participating neighbors, along with check-in instructions.
