This program provides a Thanksgiving & Christmas Food box for families in our region. They will receive a food box at Thanksgiving & Christmas that will include items to prepare a traditional holiday meal and other food items for several meals. Families with qualifying teenagers can also apply for Be A Light Marketplace, in which we invite the parents to shop for their teen and siblings.

If you are interested in participating in the Holiday Food Program or the Be a Light Marketplace with Good Samaritan Ministries you will need to call us at (423) 928-0288 Ext. 220 and ask to be added to the callback list for the Holiday Programs. One of our Social Workers will contact you and see if you are eligible for the program.

Required Documentation needed to sign up for the program include:

• Complete Good Samaritan Application

• Photo ID

• Social Security card for ALL members of the household

• Lease, mortgage, or proof of ownership

• Proof of Income & Utility Bill
