It’s time for the 17th annual Up and At ‘Em Turkey Trot! This year’s race will be held on November 24th at 8:30 with packet pick up for participants on November 22nd and 23rd at Memorial Park Community Center.
The Turkey Trot is an annual tradition in Johnson City and we encourage you to join thousands of other runners in the Tri-cities’ largest 5K race. Good Samaritan Ministries has partnered with Johnson City to provide donation barrels for non-perishable food items at this great event.

Good Samaritan Ministries encourages race participants and spectators to donate non-perishable food items in the donation barrels located at the start of the race! As we see regularly in the news, there are food shortages happening across the country as well as right here in our community. This is a great opportunity for the running community to help Good Samaritan in our mission to combat poverty and change lives.
