Volunteer with Us During the Week
Good Samaritan Ministries has a couple of weekly volunteer spots for individuals in the main office in downtown Johnson City!
Intake Desk- 12:30pm-3:30pm Weekdays
This position consists of handling incoming phone calls from neighbors needing assistance, providing individuals additional resource contacts, and taking messages for staff as needed. The goal is to train two consistent volunteers per afternoon shift.
Food Pantry- 9:00am-12:00pm Wednesdays
This position consists of assisting the Food Pantry staff with food box packing and distribution, stocking shelves and general cleaning. Lifting and reaching is required.
