Good Samaritan Ministries distributes a limited supply of monthly food boxes (USDA and monthly boxes) to neighbors on a first-come, first-served, basis. Good Samaritan Ministries observes a monthly waiting period of ineligibility between food box distributions. Please observe the pickup procedure below to receive a monthly food box.
We appreciate your patience during the distribution window – call volume and service times may be higher than normal depending on demand.
Call When You Arrive
Contact the front desk when you arrive to request a food box.
Pickup Procedure
- Arrive to the pickup location and contact the front desk of the office to request a food box – 423-928-0288. We recommend parking in the parallel parking spaces located on North Roan Street, in front of the office.
You must speak to an intake specialist and confirm your place on the food box distribution list when you arrive to the office; you may need to call the number several times to speak to the front desk in-person. - After confirming your pickup, Good Samaritan Ministries will assemble your box and provide additional instructions to drive around the building to the pickup location to receive your food box.
If you have not completed an neighbor application, or need to update information on your existing application, please complete an application form while you wait. - Drive around to the pickup location for your food box and provide your completed application (if required).
Good Samaritan Ministries recommends neighbors arrive early to experience the best opportunity to receive a food box.
