2023 Toy Donation Drive

We need your help to donate toys for our marketplace.

Good Samaritan Ministries will serve families this holiday season, providing food for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, and providing gifts for children in the Be a Light Marketplace. We need your donated toys for our marketplace!

What to Donate?

Visit the Support section of our Hope for the Holidays campaign to learn more about starting a collection drive. Good Samaritan Ministries needs toys for boys and girls, age 1-17. Please donate new, packaged toys valued up to $25.00.

Donation Ideas

  • $25 denomination gift cards – Walmart, Best Buy, Target, Chick-fil-a, McDonald’s, Burger King, Cookout, and other popular stores and restaurants
  • Wireless headsets and phone accessories – earbuds, over the ear headsets, charging cables, blue speakers, and other electronic accessories
  • Sports and outdoor items such as balls, equipment, and outdoor games
  • Bedroom home goods such as pillows, lights, desktop items, and decorations
  • Personal hygiene items for tween and teens (ages 10-17)
  • Popular toys and board games for for ages 6-12
  • Popular toys and learning games for children ages 6 and under
  • Stuffed and plush figures for children ages 6 and under
  • Baby needs (0-2 years) such as swaddling blankets, playmats and accessories, and learning toys

How to Donate

Good Samaritan Ministries is receiving toy donations at its donation center in downtown Johnson City, Tennessee. Just stop by and leave your toy donation with us during donation center hours.

Donors can schedule a collection drive with us. Visit our collection drive page to learn more about starting your Hope for the Holidays toy collection drive. Good Samaritan Ministries will contact you to coordinate your collection drive.

We have also published an Amazon wish list of gift ideas. Items purchased from this list will be delivered to the main office as a donation for the marketplace.
